Today was the last day of the Winter Olympics ... while Winter Olympics aren't a big deal to the 160,000 St Lucians ... they are a pretty big deal to many of the Canadians we have met. Particularly ... hockey.
We had dinner in the English Pub with 50 or so Canadians who were intent on the outcome of the gold medal hockey game. In the end, Canada came away victorious, and we were treated to a rousing rendition of Oh Canada. It was really nice to see everyone in the pub standing up and singing the Canadian national anthem.
